Ha ha, cheers Speiro. I need one of those bans myself now. I keep getting cheap guitars that I really like, and since they're cheap I don't see much point in selling them on!

I had a Cool Rails in the middle position of my SL3 but I wanted to go back to a true single coil there (I just feel an HSH guitar is much more versatile and interesting to play than an HHH one) so I put the Cool Rails in the neck of the Stealth, and the Jackson neck single coil from the Stealth into the middle of the SL3.
I love it! Both these guitars sound brilliant now - if you dial the gain back you can get really nice notch position tones. It's not QUITE "Sultans of Swing" but pretty fucking close, sounds great! And the solo tone from the Stealth neck position is a million times better than it was with the weedy single coil.
I'm well chuffed with things.

Here's some pics I took this afternoon. I had a play along to the first Skid Row album and I love it, it plays and sounds fantastic. Not as good as the JDR-94 or SL3, but better than the KE3 (I should really get rid of that one).
