  • Fusion neck replacement...

I asked Warmoth if they could make me a rev strat maple/maple neck for my Fusion. The guy didn't seem to be sure.

Then i noticed all of the 24 3/4 scale necks are "Conversion scale" So you couldn't use them on a guitar routed for a regular 24 3/4 scale neck...This correct?

Anyone know of anyother place I could try?

    Huh?

Just get a maple maple fusion neck, chop the headstock off and re-attach it in reverse

Yeah, you can only use a Warmoth conversion neck on a 25.5" scale body. I have to think you could get a replacement neck somewhere, but I'm not sure where. GMW would build you a complete guitar, but I don't they do parts.

Actually you have to ask for the 24 fret tiltback headstock 24 3/4 scale. They used to make one, and have told me they still do for order only. But they do not list it. I had one back in the late 80's early 90's? Its close enough for government work. And they will do bodies to accept the neck because the pocket for that one is set in further. If they don't recall check with musikraft.

Thanks guys...I just NEED to do this! I also might pull the trigger on a Style 1 Charvel...they can't sell the things up here...so the music store near me is letting 12 of them go for 699 each! I'm liking the powder blue one!
