hello everyone.I'm newbie here.I am just begineer guitar player.Recently i bought a mij guitar that reads 'grover jackson' on the headstock. On the truss rod cover,it says 'black blood'.My question is,which year this guitar was produced? Can someone give any info on the exact spec of this guitar?Because i was told from the previous owner the pickups on this guitar were emg81/85.But i was sure mine had it swapped because the pickups now looks like an ordinary paf pickup.Photos will be uploaded soon. Thanks!

Interesting. No inlays, and the board looks like it might be ebony. Usually you'd find rosewood on a GroverJackson bolt-on.
I'm assuming this was made around the time of the RR-2, which was a USA-made bolt-on with a blank ebony board, but it had import hardware (not sure if it had a trem or not).
Most of the GroverJackson's I've seen mirrored their USA-market counterparts (the "colors" Dinkys, Roswell, etc).
Anyway, definitely not EMGs.
At first I was going to say the trussrod cover was put on by a previous owner (name of the band?) but the heel stamp seems to say BBV - Black Blood V. I know they did a few "special runs" like this which never made it to America. Someone here posted similar pics a while back (i.e. neck stamped with the run designation).

I have not a clue, I'm a newb still, but that is a nice axe.
Googled it to see what I could find, but all I got was a for sale ad with some specs, no year."illegal downloading saved people from having to buy that piece of shit you tried to pass off as music" - Nighbat
