thanks guys. i may be able to play the show. i had asked it to be shipped to my work if it was to arrive on a weekday and to my house if on a weekend since its signature required. but it was shipped to my house, so if i cant catch the ups guy on thurs i may be able to get it from a ups hub on friday if it goes back to the hub. otherwise no i'll be playin my kelly for the last show.
really didnt wanna play it til i swapped the pickups out, restrung it will some EB hybrids and set it up for me anyway. even if i got it on friday i dont think i'd wanna play a guitar shortly after all of that since even when stretching the strings, it still doesnt quite stay til its completely settled in. so i guess it wasnt alvins old soloist, eh? still from a cool jcf'r so as long as it wasnt abused i'm sure i'll love it. gonna put a cool rail at the neck and an x2n at the bridge. not really concerned with the middle since i'd probably never use it although if i drop another cool rail in there i might.
as far as the feedback section, well i cant fault him for his parents decision. it sure woulda been nice if the parents were aware of the agreement beforehand, but it is what it is. its on the way which at this point is at least relieving the illness in my gut. and yes Cygnus X1 its still a fuckin cold rainy day. damn the cold ha ha

I traded the solosit to FunkyApocalypse for his RR24, I took it with me[on the plane] to CA on a business trip and shipped the RR24 back
Now it is coming back this way for a Kelly, that guitar gets around lol!

well if i never do a tour across the country at least i can say the guitar has. ha ha

oh and the semi good news is although it was supposed to be shipped with signature req, it didnt so i should get it fine on thurs and just may play it for the last show. now i just hope it was really insured as i was told since it was shipped back in the box i sent. we all know a kelly case is almost twice the size of a soloist case

Yay got it. Case was shakin around in the box and the vol knob had fallen off creatin a few minor scratches, but it wasnt broke thank god!! Pics comin in a lil bit

+1 If you can't do a deal on your own than don't do it at all. "My parents won't let me," is a lame excuse.

Funny that in protecting him from getting screwed, they were willing to in one way or another screw you...nice. My '90 Soloist Pro is gray and I like it, but still prefer the White Model 4. White Jackson/Charvels are the shit!! Enjoy it.
