  • Cousin GAVE me Professional King V Need info

    My cousin gave me his King V standard , I want to know a lot more about it. The guitar tech I had tweek it freaked as did the customer that walked in and saw it. It's serial #9405547.. Please Help. I'm new to Jackson and lovin it.

    Without seeing pics, it's hard to tell, but going by the serial I'd say it was a '94 bolt-on with one too many numbers on the plate (should only be 6). It was designated as the KV-2 in 1996, and then the KV-3 when the KV-2 became a Floyded USA neckthrough model.

      These aren't rare at all, a lot were produced. Made in the Japan factory.
