My cats were much more interested in the guitar than my bunny.. Or actually they were interested in the case, not the guitar. They sat in that case for long time sniffing around and looked pretty happy. "Hey, look what our slave brought us again! A butt-warmer!"

Is a common problem with RR5's that the paint comes of the metal parts?

At first I thought i'd replace the hardware with some new gold ones, but then I decided not to. It looks like a player now and it sounds great.. Especially as I replaced the two vol pots with push/pull ones for individual coil splitting. I'm getting some kick ass clean and crunchy deep purpleish tones out of it now! It's almost making me want to change the emg's on my ltd m-1000 for some passives with coil splitting for more versatile sound..

I think it looks better this way.. I'll just have to figure a way to cover those screw holes up non-permanently, if I ever want to sell this guitar..
