  • Holy Crap!!!

I had no idea Kelly Stars were ever offered as a production model! Ive got a line on one and cant find the correct cat. scan with info on these. Any info on Kelly Stars would be much appreciated.

    **Edit
Found it in the 2001 cat., but no specs.

Depends on the model, they are all usually just japan import or jackson specs, rosewood bolt on or "striped ebony" boards or ebony board neck thru depending on the model. Some stars had mahogany bodies, Moto "pearl" inlays...Duncan or Duncan Designed pups, can't really go wrong if you can get a good condition neck thru for 700ish bucks.

No, not a Jackson Stars Kelly, a Jackson "Kelly Star" (KSXT)

Cool, thanks, the jt500 bothers me a little. Hmm, ill have to think about this one. What current "line" of Jacksons would this fall into in regards to production country and build quality (eg, X series, Pro series etc.)

The one Ron is holding isnt exactly a Kelly Star, notice the bottom front horn, more of a super pointy star. Notice in his post it says its a custom. It is bad ass though if it werent for it painted like a used tampon.

I saw a red one go for $280 on ebay recently. Do a search of completed auctions. I'd never sell mine that cheap.
