Not going to mod this guitar at all.

I did some research, and found this guitar is in fact a limited run Jackson DK2M. In fact Jackson only produced approximately 20 or so DK2Ms with this particular finish, as part of a "botched" order.

Like just about everyone else, I was considering at least changing out the jt580lp for an OFR, but I think I'll leave it as is as well.

Did I mention, I only paid $290 for this beauty . Don't hate.

Great looking pointy. You sound like most of us, even though a guitar is perfect as-is, you wanna make it "yours" by switching hardware, pups, etc.

That guitar looks great as-is, and I see you have decided to leave it. For now. My bet is you will get around to trying some customizing on it eventually...it's a bit of a disease.

Wow, that's two votes for not changing out the pick ups to white/black humbuckers I must be gettin tacky in my old age. How about some red/black humbuckers?

Looks great as is, but I like zebra pups a lot. I'd do cream/black instead of white/black if you ever do decide to swap them.

I love the DK2Ms...great guitars and the stock trems work just fine. if you change out the pups I recommend either the Doug Aldrich creme and black set from Suhr or a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the Bridge and an Evolution in the neck. I did the dimarzio switch in a DK2M I picked up off CL and that guitar screams. I also have a bone stock Inferno Red DK2M I am putting the Aldrich pups in. I did a pup swap for my friend and put the Aldrich pups in his Soloist...All I can say is Magic! What an awesome sounding guitar...pure tone! I am praying that lightning strikes twice!

I would say no to zebra or red pups. That thing is a beauty as it is but maybe a set of EMGs in there would look good. the sleek flat top of the pickups would look nice. otherwise I wouldn't change a thing!

Well i sold this guitar shortly after i switched out the pups n the floyd. You can see pics on forum topic "limited run dk2m with suttle makeover". But dont reply, its an old post like this one. Oddly enough, i the guy who bought this guitar from me listed it on Ebay a few months ago. Thought about buying it back but passed on it. It was a great guitar, but another guitar came up that i just had to have. And you know how it is when you are on a budget.
