    RR3 with binding?

    I went to a guitar store in central London today and tried out an RR3 they had hanging up on the wall. What really caught my eye is that it had binding around the neck and headstock. The hangtag said RR3 BLK W/ BNDNG or something.

    I was quite surprised by this fact and asked one of the guys who worked there about it who told me that Jackson has started putting binding on all Pro series guitars. Is this true? If so, it's about frickin' time!

    Hmm, I thought they were adding binding to the neck-thrus (xx5) little by little. Wasn't aware that they were doing this to the bolt-ons also... I agree it is past due...


    (of course the DK2s have had binding for years, if not always, also DXMG)

      Yup, I just saw an RR3 here with binding at the local J/C dealer a few weeks ago.
