I've had 3 Slsmgs, all of them were decent guitars and I scored all of them for under 500 bucks. So I guess they don't have a high resale value. They seem to be doing better though

New guitars are like new cars. You lose a big chunk of the value as soon as you drive off the lot.

I have 2 SLSMG's and I think they're great, but I know could find one for under 600$ with a little patience if I wanted another one.
I only need one more guitar.

Yeah, it's the "Smurf hat" headstock. Personally, I don't mind it a bit but I know it's not too popular. But I also prefer the pointy.

I agree, the pointy headstock screams Jackson -

I do like the slim neckthrough design tho....

Maybe try advertising it as the "reverse Chris Broderick headstock".

What I've done in the past is to trade up or trade from something that would be more sellable. I actually had an 2007 ESP Eclipse II on Craigslist for the longest time and it was priced fair. Not counting the scammers, I had only interest from one person. I ended up trading it for a 2008 Fender American Stratocaster with the original case and case candy. I'm going to keep the Strat but if I did post it on Craigslist I know it will getting a lot more interest and serious offers. I traded a Schecter for a DK2 after not getting any serious offers on Craigslist. That may have be a trade down but I'm happy because I'm playing it more than I did the Schecter. There are plenty of guys out there gassing for something else and will trade down to avoid the hassle of selling.

Jacksons suffer from "I can get the same guitar locally for $250-itis", though the asshats who claim this don't seem to understand they should buy that one.

that's just the yin to the yang of the seller who "was offered $5G for this..."

Selling on eBay can be fickle, but its not impossible. the number one F-U people make is shitty pics, you want your lead pic, to be a !wow! pic, only one chance to make a first impression, here's my POS Jay Turser as an example

                              And heres my Warlock

If you don't want to pay 10 cents for each additional pic, just go to tinypic.com
And Never, Never Include a case with your guitar, no one bids on the case the comes with the guitar, might as well sell it separately , if your lucky the guy that buys your guitar will also buy your case

If I saw the pic of that warlock id pass it over. Looks to me like your distorting the axe rather than SHOWING me something. Just my opinion.
