      I have added a comment on that chart to try avoid the same misunderstanding is the future:
      Price is list price when the model was introduced.

              thanks Jackson1, the misunderstanding was my fault. i paid significantly less than that when the guitar was new, so i thought the value went up.

              i feel a bit better about letting it go for what i did now

                Check the LA Craigslist. There's a red Japanese Sololist SL3 selling for $500ish. Lowball the dude...he bought it for $300 and is now trying to flip it. He grabbed it up before I got to it.

                    If like the SLSMG, and it's got the right feel for you, buy it. EMG's or not, changing the pups out is not a big deal.
