    DKMGT(for string "T"hrough, or "T"une-o-matic)FF("F"lame "F"ret board)

No you cant split an 81 or 85. Youll want an 89 to coil split.

Judging from the serials, I'd say 2003, EMG-HZ, alder body, bound rosewood fingerboard, JT-580LP trem.
Hen is correct. The 969 is a 2003, and the 968 most likely is also, or a 2002.

and i dont get it, what does 290-0100 mean on that '03 dkmg?
EDIT: the fuck? theyre passive emg's? what year did they start putting active's into them?
wait that third knob down is the 20db boost right? so that means that these are active?
They started putting in 81 and 85 active pickups in '06 I believe. I had an '05 version and I had the passive pickups replaced with active ones and the sound was amazing. I wish I still had that DKMG because the sound was clear and professional. If you can find one with active pickups in your price range go for it.

theres one for $400, but its the trans red, and that looks so tacky IMO, its like an orange red burst, and the website makes it look like a walnut mahogany stain red, which looks amazing. i wonder if its worth getting pro refinished
i dont get why people sell higher end guitars to GC, like buy it for $1k then sell for $200 3 years later?

thats what i was saying haha..

also does anyone know if this will fit a jackson LFR? and if not, where i could find one that will, all the replacements only specify that theyll fit a Floyd rose, im not sure if theyre universal though
