Considering buying a Jackson SL 4

Hey all,

I am looking for a good guitar to put a sustainer in. I tried out Dinky Sustainiac and had a lot of fun with it. I have found a Jackson SL4 for sale locally and I am considering purchasing it.

Is the SL 4 a Model 4? Price is $600 and the guitar looks stock and in good shape.

What do you guys and gals think?

No, a Model 4 is a bolt on Strat sized guitar with an HSS layout. About $300 - $450.

An SL4 is a Dinky shape neck thru with an HH layout. Different guitars, different wood.

With $600 I'd look for a PRO model Jackson, like a Soloist PRO. Almost as good as a USA Jackson.

Or a Model 6.
