I don't think you paid too much. I thought I gave mine away. Mine had a light board also and looked beatuful with the white body.. I only sold it because a really nice Soloist became available for a really low cost. The guy sold it the same day I sold my DK2. I really wish I had it back and should have just kept it in the first place. It was really nicely made and played great.
