          Wow, even downgraded to EMGHZ pickups

          Just kidding. I just picked up a DXMG with those. Last time I had a DXMG it didn't sound as bad as everyone says. At least I didn't think so.

                For the record the passive EMG's are amazing on this guitar. I was blown away at the clean signal prepared to the Actives that were supplied with it.

                They dont sound as sharp, which is why I was thinking about switching back.
