  • Ps1 ?

    Hi all
Recently bought a Jackson guitar. Wanted to try out a Floyd bridge and it was relatively cheap.
It says PS1 on the headstock but checking an old catalogue online it doesn't match the spec.
    Any idea what it is?

Couple pics, should of dusted it first :P

This looks like a mutt of some kind to me. The neck looks to be from a PS2 (24 fret, wide dot korean spacing) with a PS1 TR cover. The body is a mystery to me. It's a Jackson/Charvel body but not sure on the model.

      Ok, thanks
Thought the Body might be a PS4?

Plays nice anyway, just need to get some new pickups as the one's in sound muddy.

The PS1 had a 24 fret neck, it just didn't have a Floyd. It was a H-S-S with a pickgaurd and a two point JT480 trem.
It's a J/C body, just can't recall which one exactly.

Mine was 22 fret and had a 6 screw fender style bridge.

Did it have a reverse headstock?
In 94-95ish I had a Korean made PS1 that looked like what later came out as a JS1.
            It's the blue one.

No it still had the regular HS, HSS, pickguard, black hardware, dot inlays and all that. Just 22 frets and a 6 screw trem. It was a metallic dark green, thing was beautiful.
