Picked this up around New Years! (haven't been around in a while) SL2HTB

This was at my local GC hanging on the wall back around Christmas. I played it and couldn't put it down (smooth/fast playing neck as all Jacksons are/have). Snapped this pic with my iPhone before I left the store/put a deposit on it:



I picked it up a few days later (I think 12/30/10). I've since gigged with it and rehearsed with it a few times. Great guitar! This guitar makes Jackson number six right now so it's time to part with at least my DK2M or something :think:

Looks like the Sam Ash Special run "SL2H". Sam Ass called it an SL2H even though it has nothing in common with one.

I'd call it an AT (for Arch Top) something or other.

I have more guitars than I have the ability to play. It's out of hand. I have to sell a couple of each brand not just Jackson. I like archtops more so if I have this guitar and the dinky side by side sitting in stands, I would pick this one up 9 times out of 10 instead of the DK2M.

That's exactly what it is. I thought they were verycool when they came out. I have no idea why Jackson went along with naming it an SL2H either. I'd have called it an Solosist Arch Top Pro Series.

I own one of these too... went to the local music store looking for some strings, and saw it in the FMIC outlet store. Same story for me... when I picked it up, I couldn't put it down anymore. They just play too well.
