Imported Jackson Kelly info?

Spotted one in a local pawn shop. Asking $250.00 w/o case.

Says only Jackson on headstock. Neck is non bound but with sharkies. Has two Seymour Duncan humbuckers (aftermarket perhaps?) and a volume, tone and 3-way switch ala Les Paul.

Also has the black hardware JT-580 Takeuchi trem.

All black neckplate w/gasket and serial numbers start with 97XXXX....

Any idea of country of origin please?

sounds like a Japanese KE3. Pickups should be stock, they came with a JB/Jazz set after '06 and that serial would correct.

Shouldn't be a Takeuchi threm though. Should be a 580LP

$250 is pretty good if it's in good nick.

It's missing the crews and clamps of the floyd locking nut, there is no bar for the trem, and there are a few small nicks on the corners.

But it does have the Jackson hardshell case though!

I know that I can bargain that down to say $225.00

MIJ Kelly's are pretty rare up here so I might just grab it after all.

This might be a great body for a Learn paintjob as well.
