I don't have a favourite non "Pro" import - I don't own any. I would say however, the best one I did own was an EDS DK2M.

RR24M hands down. I love em all, but that one is just a tad above the rest!

I have several favorites: Concept JDX-94 Dinky, TH-2 Stealth, Dinky RVS Professional and DK2M. I prefer reverse headstocks, and the RVS had both the reverse headstock and real MOP reverse sharkfins.

Pearloid looks terrible to me, except in the case of some BCRs with small pearloid "diamond" inlays. I have no intention of ever buying a Jackson that has pearloid inlays, unless they are literally too small to distinguish the material.

Well, I love my DXMG and DK2M. Great guitars that just work perfectly for me and what I play.

I also rather liked the AT2 that I had, even if it didn't stay. It was a good guitar, it just didn't fit what I needed it for. There's a lot of weird guitars from Japan in that era, actually...

Of those I've played, definately my recently acquired black COW 6 string. I love the way it looks and sounds. Also very fond of my DKMG.

Has anyone seen a DK2M with a body like this, or do you think the owner did it? Looks unfamiliar to me...
EDIT: Actually, they're advertising it as either DXMG, DK2 or DK2M... apparently a friend is selling it and doesn't know anything about it...

I don't have Japanese neck-thrus yet, but if I get to invest in one or two, I'd go for the KV5FR or KE5FR so long as they have binding.
As for the Blot-ons, I have to say Warrior WRMGs, they simply kickass.
As for a big bang for your buck guitar, the DXMG is it IMO...

                        WRMG/XT, Dominion, C5P bass, DR7t, KVX10D BGF.

The PC3 and DK2s weren't bad, but I just can't get comfy with the body shapes. I either need a full-size Strattish body or not at all.
I think it's the cuts in the back.

DXMG, although my RR3 is growing on me.

DK2M would have a maple fingerboard so its not that.A look at the sides and back would help to ID that one.
