In your opinion what MIJ Jackson from 2000 to present has the best neck? Reason I ask is I have a DK2 (not sure what year) with a wide and fat neck thats not that great and I have a DX10D and a JS30, which are cheaper models and they have more of the thin Jackson necks that I like. I was thinking about swapping the reverse neck off the DX10 and DK2.

This has been discussed before. MIJ necks had fat years. They are all different so it's best to try in person.
And whose to say the best neck isn't the fatter one? Not to you and me, but someone who likes PC1's might like the fatter DK2s, DXMGs, DKMGs, etc.

The JSWR30 I had a few years ago did not have a thin neck. It was thick. The thinnest 2000-present neck you'll find is on the KVX10 (trem and non-trem models). I put a non-trem model on a DXMGT body and turned that one into a true shredder with crazy-low action.
Not sure about the RR or KE bolt-on necks.
Your DK2 neck should be stamped with the model and maybe the year on the heel.
"Wide and fat" makes me think it's not a DK2, but a Dinky Reverse. Does it have fins or offset dots?I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Newc is right on about the KVX10 necks being thin, the one I had was stamped KE3 though, so production parts are swapped in the factory from time to time. My DXMG has an ever-so-slightly fatter neck, but it's so close to my Charvel, not huge, but not tiny either."illegal downloading saved people from having to buy that piece of shit you tried to pass off as music" - Nighbat

My DK2 neck is fatter than normal, and it's from around that time frame (early 2000s). It was one of those inventory NOS blow outs that had the serial number plate removed and headstock stamped "USED" to prevent warrenty repairs. It was my first Jackson - bought off ebay. It's easy to tell when I bought it (Feb 2005) because it's the same time I joined this forum.

Almost forgot to mention that the Concepts and the Professionals had thinner necks too. I had a JRR94 and a PS4 that both had thinner necks. They're out there, but its best to try before you buy."illegal downloading saved people from having to buy that piece of shit you tried to pass off as music" - Nighbat
