Jackson J-50M?

What is the Jackson J-50M? Have one in bridge of my 90 Soloist Pro.

I know what a J-50BC is-got one in my Model 4, but can't find any info on the J-50M.....

That's the J50 "Yo Mama" pickup

I'm pretty sure your J50M is really a J50N - N for neck, wound to PAF specs (8K of 42 wire and an Alnico magnet).

However, the so-called J50M is in the bridge position, so would seem rather strange if it was a neck pup, although those are good specs for a PAF bridge pup. Looking at the original catalog, it is listed as J50M (B) but doesn't seem to list the specs for a it. Just can't figure out what the M can designate??? And it is an M.

I did notice a Charvel LS1 has the J50M listed as the neck pickup so you may be right. Although it is still in the bridge position in this particular Soloist.
