  • Super Distortion - RR24M

    Well, I pulled out my EMG 81 and replaced it with a dimarzio super distortion.. I love it!!

    Love the way it sounds in this guitar.. Ran it through my TS9 into my Marshall JCM2000 DSL100..

    Guitars: Jackson RR24M, Gibson Traditional & R8 Les Pauls, Warmoth Soloist, Dean ML, Taylor 214CE, Kramer Aerostar
    Amps: Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100, 1960BV cab, Line 6 Spider IV 150
    Pedals: Line 6 X3 Live, Several BOSS pedals, VOX ToneLab

    See, I have the same guitar and same amp and I love the way the EMG81 sounds. I'm not denying the Super D sounds great, but I have other axes for those.

      Yeah, I know what you mean. I was thinking the same thing. I have a Dean with EMGs so I at least have one still..

        Yeah, I know what you mean. I was thinking the same thing. I have a Dean with EMGs so I at least have one still..
