I always wanted to check one out, then maybe get a US if I like the shape. The guy says it's a '97 but I thought I'd ask here. Serial starts with 97 but I don't think that designates the year. For 200.00 I don't think I did too bad. Any idea what year and country it was made in?

I"d say it's an XT, but I can't recall if they were making them that far back? All mine are post-2000.

After looking through catalog scans http://audiozone.dk/guitargallery/?c...2003Page31.jpg I believe it's a 2003 WRXT MIJ. Same SDD Invaders and non-bound sharkfin neck.

969xxxx is 2003, and 970xxxx is 2004, so yours is a 2004+
