  • What's my guitar worth?

So while searching around the net for some information on listing my guitar I found this site... TALK ABOUT A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE!

Anyways, I've decided to sell my Dinky RVS. I really don't know what the going rate is for these since I haven't been able to find any online for sale or that have been sold. Sadly I just don't play it anymore and the fiance and I are trying to buy a new house so I'm getting rid of some of my toys I don't really use anymore.

I'm not sure if it's against the forum rules to post the link to my ebay auction (not trying to pump up the sale on here) just trying to get an idea of what I might expect to get for my guitar or an idea of what it's actually worth.

For now I'll just post a link to my Flickr with the pictures of the guitar.

    Thanks in advance!

Yep against the rules to post an Ebay link. IMO your guitar is worth between $250 and $350 but you never know on Ebay.

Yeah, Ebay is so wierd. I sold my Ex-mother-in-law on there and got a new girlfriend out of her, Who'd a thunk it?
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

You have nice photos that clearly show the good condition of the guitar. You will probably get more on ebay than your typical cellphone pic auction.

Tcwil8, thanks for the honest answer. I figured starting it at $300 was a fair price but I really didn't have a clue as to what it was worth.

Haha, Len I'm definitely not trying to fund the new house with this! This falls into the category of "I have too much stuff that I don't really NEED or use anymore". This will be one less thing I need to pack and move that will just go back on a wall or in a box somewhere.

Carbuff, Funny thing is that those are cell phone pics! The iPhone really does take good pictures.

It's a really nice guitar and I'm sure someone will be happy with it. It still impresses me how nice it is considering it's sixteen years old.

i was looking at your auction ....not to burst your bubble but there are a few factual misconceptions ...but what the hell its ebay, not the first time and definitely not the last. also having zero feedback, high starting bid price and not spending the extra 50 cents to post all your pix on the auction page is not going to help
you might want to check out this site http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/jack...ofessional.php there is a wealth of information that might enhance your knowledge about the pro series verse professional series of that era
sorry if i am comin across the wrong way ,just tryin to help
