"Shuriken" models at Guitar Center?

Sorry for the delay in posting. I finally made it home and took the original neck off. I slapped the reverse headstock Dinky neck on it. It's not bolted on yet so I just put it in pace to take a pic for you guys. What do you think? MUCH better than the original I think. What do you all think?

By the way, if anyone is interested in the Shuriken neck, PM me. I'm going to post it in classifieds but if you wanna get it before then let me know. It's mint. No playing time on it so it'se4o

Bought the quilted maple top last week, my first Jackson. Traded my Epiphone Casino for it (too big for my preferred sitting position when playing. And that feedback--YOW). I'm not an in-depth guitar head--I'm just getting back into it after a long layoff--but so far I like what I've got. Sounds great on the Metal Stack setting through my Roland Cube 15X practice amp and feels very comfortable. Having a ton of fun plucking around with my old classic rock and 80s metal faves.

BTW, I got a little paranoid when I realized the neck didn't have the telltale Jackson fins. So I called the Jackson/Fender customer service line and asked for a rundown of the serial number. This is an Indian made version of the JS23 with a cedro body. Introduced in June for GC and to be discontinued in October. And to my surprise, only 240 were made. They sent me the full spec sheet in case anyone is interested.

No gig bag, and I'm kicking myself for not springing for one. Didn't even make it to the car before getting a ding.

Anyway, I dig what I got so far. Now to just find the right amp for it...
