    Folks,

Does anyone know if any of the old Dinky Professionals (XLs?) has MOP logos on the headstock? I can't tell by the catalog shots on audiozone.

Also, what's the neck carve like on them? I like the feel on my model 6, and my Sl2ht, even though the 6 feels smaller overall. This said, they are both comfortable, and not too thin.

    Tks,
    Paul

The Professional XL does NOT have a MOP logo. The neck will be a bit thinner than either of the guitars you mentioned, although not the thinnest Jackson ever offered.

Thanks for the info. Would the Fusions and Stealths be rated as the thinnest in your opinion?

I haven't tried a Fusion, but my Stealth has a thinner neck than my Dinky XL. The Concept models (predecessors to the Performers) had very thin necks as well.

A Dinky XL is NOT a Dinky PRO.

              Technically.....ah fuck it.

And no, the thinnest production bolt-on neck Jackson ever made was found on the JTX. It's thinner than a KV profile. 0.67" at the third fret. My WarAngel has a KV profile and is 0.74" at the 3rd fret.

Fusions feel thinner due to the shorter scale.

The Dinky XL is part of the Professional series, but there was also the higher end Dinky PRO model.

I have yet to actually see a Dinky Pro, and my life is thus a disappointment.

                          XLs are rosewood.

Has ANYONE? I mean, I've never seen one, and Audiozone doesn't list one...

Wasn't there a Dinky Pro? I believe there was a Soloist Pro, King V Pro, Rhoads Pro, Fusion Pro and Kelly Pro. Could have sworn there was a Dinky Pro, also.
