Jackson KE-5, binding?

Hello guys, I'm looking forward to buy a brand new Jackson KE-5, It seems to be a great axe, but I'm curious, there are some of them that come with binding and others that not, maybe some finish come with binding and others not, or it is a year issue?

I forgot to mention that I'm not interested in buying a kelly without binding on the neck and headstock, as it should be.

I believe they have started coming with binding in the last year or so. A search will confirm this. Any without binding would be 'older' stock.
