  • Knife Up Headstocks

So I know that the funky Knife up headstock was the bane of the Jackson world when it came out. but I seem to see them aging well ...even some interest in collecting them because they aren't the norm headstock
Anyone else have an opinion....(As if I had to ask)

if you are talking about the SLS head, like the one in your pic, i like it. in fact, i am excited for the chris broderick model just because of the headstock.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

The SLS headstock IMO is the 2nd best headstock design on the market... the standard JC pointy being #1 of course.

The Broderick headstock is actually a reverse SLS. Both look cool, but I prefer the standard SLS a little more.

Arent we forgetting the term "smurf hat", or is that something different?

Some people call it smurf hat, but it's not really since it's more pointy than a smurf hat. The original ESP Horizon has more of a smurf hat. I actually love this headstock!

Youll be happy to know then, that the pre-Fender PCs and Charvels had what is known here as the "ball sack" headstock.

Wrong. The "harpoon" head is that atrocious headstock on that polka dot V of Randys the ZW has now.
