  • New JS32RT/Couple Q's

So I bought a new black Jackson JS32TR....I know it's the cheaper version of the Rhoads but I have never played one and want to make sure I can get used to the body style...

With that being said, I love them! It's amazing because they look fairly big, but when you put it on, it feels like such a small bodied guitar!

I brought it home, strung it with Ernie 10's...did a setup, surprisingly the intonation was perfect, all I had to do was a slight neck adjustment and raise the bridge to eliminate some buzz...but it has a great action to it, and tapping is a breeeeze.

Now with the question...I don't want to put a ton of money into it, but then again I didn't buy it for it to hang on the wall so...does anyone know if a Rhoads string plate (or whatever it's called...the triangular string ferrule on the front) will fit this guitar? Is the hole alignment the same for all the Rhoads?

Second question...how are the tuners and bridge on these things? Worth an upgrade? If so, what bridge are people putting on these?

Here's a quick pic of the string ferrule thing that I want for it...

    Thanks for any help!
