can't figure this one out

I'm looking at a Soloist on CL and I can't figure out the year. The serial is six digits starting with 08xxxx. It has 24 frets, looks like rosewood with a blue flamed top, HH and it looks like is says SD on the pickups.

Based on the links I've found with Serial # info, it should be 1990(?) but that doesn't seem correct. Any insight? The seller is asking 800.

I missed that, after my 30 buck 89 custom, I'm hooked on finding another deal! So I guess we're competing lol
