I love the satin hardware on my (now my kid's) black DK7R. I't a great sounding/playing guitar. In fact, the dude from Scar Symmertry plays one.

My only issue comes when it's time for an OFR.

                    Multiple choice, Mac:

                    A) OFR = [O]NLY [F]OR [R]ETARDS
                    B) OFR = [O]NIONY [F]ART [R]ANK
                    C) OFR = [O]NE [F]ISTED [R]EAMER
                    D) OFR = [O]LD [F]LUTE [R]IDER
                    E) OFR = [O]VARIES [F]ROM [R]UANDA
                    - OR -
                    F) NONE OF THE ABOVE

If you guessed B, relinquish all rights to breathe. I kid.

In the context of this forum OFR refers to the [O]riginal [F]loyd [R]ose tremolo system. It's like sex on a stick for whammy bar players the world over.

This is how it starts. Pretty soon you will have 10 or more! You will feel compelled to buy every one you can find. Well, at least you will want to.

I like the satin, and just found out OFR's come in satin, black chrome, and.....copper!

Yes they do come in satin, but they are not as common and readily available as chrome and black. Plus there are hardly ever any on the second hand market, thus narrowing choices even more.
