  • Floyd Rose Special VS. JT580/LP

Am I the only one who finds it odd that most Pro models use JT580/LP tremolos, while the new X models have Floyd Rose Specials?

I know some folks aren't digging the FRS, but come on, surely you gotta like them more than the JT right?

So why is the more expensive guitar equipped with a cheaper/lower quality tremolo?

I would think the FRS would be better. It's supposed to have the hardened baseplate the OFR has. Would have to replace the saddles though. Believe they are zinc.
    It's pronounced soops

years ago i bought a real floyd block for my dk2's trem the jt580 or whatever its called lol then later on i saw a floyd rose special new on ebay so i now have a real good trem as long as its set up right it doesent go out of tune whether i pull it up or down i think they should start puting these on the pro series plus face it at the end of the day we all want the real thing or as close as can be
