  • Dinky reverse with jt-580 not lo-pro?

I came across what appears to be a dinky reverse professional, but it has a jt-580 instead of a 580lp or 590. Did they ever come with the regular 580?

Ok I guess that would make sense cause it also doesnt have the j85 at the bridge but the pickups are direct mounted. Guess ill pick it up tomorrow.

i had two dinky rev. professional in the past, they were built around 1991-1992 and came stock with the "schaller" floyd rose JT580 trem.
i think jackson switched to the JT590 or LowPro version in 1994.

590 is schaller, 500 is the cheap schaller copy and the 580 is the better schaller copy but in the early days I think it was different.

I think it is a tackeuchi and will have a screw in bar. The block may be apart of the trem too. I think this is it:

They used to use these on the ibanez ex guitars

Ok so I havent taken pics yet, but the dots are larger than my jdr or jsx and appear to be mop. Trem is takeuchi 580 and pickups are standard poles. No rail in the bridge position. Ill take it apart tomorrow to check the neck pocket.
