Nope, 2 tones and a volume no push pulls and it looks factory. The pups have a sticker with 81 and 85 printed on them. It's a cutout in the cavity probably just like yours. I figure it was either a leftover of bodies or a special run for a big name chain. I have yet to actually see one like it with 3 knobs and not have the HZ's in it. The guy I got it from thought it was a 96 because the serial number started with a 96, when I pulled the neck off it says 2003. 5-1 on the neck and 5-2 on the body. If it is something weird it doesn't suprise me. Weird follows me. LOL Plus who in their right mind would take all the stuff out of it and not reuse the turbocharger?Last edited by tomanyjacksons; 01-09-2012, 12:14 AM.I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

I'm thinking someone swapped out the HZ's as often is the case. I'd wire it for two volumes and one tone.
Very common mod back then apparently. Nebraska and Iowa are kinda close too.
