Hello JCF users!
I'm really glad I can share my Jackson related thoughts on here
I started a project... I had a jackson RR3 that came with a floyd rose tremolo and I sold it because I had a bit of a financial problem and bought a Jackson JS30rr...
well because I got it really cheap (120 euros) I decided to make it look better... so I started to rip off all of the hardware
I stripped it too much ... that Indian Cedro wood is really "soft" and I smashed the edges and holes ... I was stripping the paint with a machine (I know I'm a dumbass... )
this picture is showing the body filled with wood filler... I filled the holes for string ferrules because I made a RR5 style string plate ... well ...
here is a Dreams versus reality picture...
string plate show-off
2nd coat of primer
3rd coat of paint (it's half mat)
the guitar looks like this now ...
I think I should afford some better pickups for her because I think she's a beauty now :P the job was done pretty well ...
the stock Jackson hum's simply aren't so good ...
rate and comment please ;D Thank you for watching!
Oh and if someone could put his original Jackson RR5 string plate and control plate into a computer scanner and send the file to me I would be more than happy I would really
like to compare how much I failed the shape :P
Thank you!
