  • Help lD this Dinky Pro!

I just came across this in a local shop.

Decent shape (pick swirls only), feels good, neck is true.

Theyre asking $250 with the case.

Fair price? Are these decent Pros?

Im just looking for a good FR equipped guitar on a budget.

Looks like a MIJ to me 12th fret dots are right.
Does it say professional on the headstock or performer or concept?
Performer the early ones were MIJ the later were Korea.
    Serial number would help.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

It says professional on the headstock. Yeah I should have got the SN while I was there.

Professional logos were dropped around 96 I had a 95 that had it.
          JT580LP trem so good hardware.
Most pro's were two humbucker kinda odd to see that single in there.May be an older neck on a newer body.
The cavity covers should be counter sunk, the Korean models had them mounted flat on the body no cover routing.

            Cavity covers are countersunk.

So what's the verdict on the $250 price with case?

My Fusion SX Pro looks almost identical apart from the bridge pup being rails & its candy royal blue. Cant remember if its 92 or 93.

Those are not Pro's. Those are Professionals.

Ron's gonna come around and open a can of whoop-ass on you

Sorry I was just abbreviating for brevity's sake. I totally forgot about the Pro vs. Professional argument.

Not a bad price and looks like a MIJ so check the serial number if it starts with a 9 you are good to go.
And don't tell them anything about the guitar, in the future its to your benefit they just think its a low end import Jackson not worth anything.

Is it some sort of fusion? By the looks of the spaces between the pickups compared to the ibanez next to it it seems like they are a little closer on the jackson.

does your SX have a tone knob?
