That's not a push/pull pot is it? If you're not splitting the coils, the red and white wires on a duncan should be wired together and taped. From that picture, it looks like the all 4 wires have been soldered to the pot?
Check out SD wiring diagrams here: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...hum_1vol_1tone

No you can see the red and white taped together and from what I can tell the green is goin to the toggle which makes me think the ground and black are soldered to the pot
Edit-the ground tab doesnt look like its even touching the pot too. Just a bunch of solder between there.Last edited by jdr94; 03-30-2012, 01:48 PM.

HI there, guys! Long time, no update, I know.
So I have two Kelly's, right? One that works perfectly (and has a speedloader bridge, woah!) and this one that does not work right. Not even a little bit.
I took off the cover of the functioning one to look at the pot, and my god is it clean in there. No solder mountain, no random bits of solder joining circuits where they're not.
I also took a look at the jack wiring as was suggested but it looks untouched, I am convinced it's the internal wiring in relation to that godawful pot.
Considering ordering a new pot and starting over.
I'll keep you updated as to what it was!
Also I'll post some pics later today of the clean wiring, for comparisonJackson Kelly Ke3 MIJ black

Ok so I finally tried wiring it back the way it's meant to be but it still buzzes. Thinking about taking ut to a store and getting them to fix it up.
