I hope you didn't pay a USA premium, because that's NOT an SL2. Not sure what it is honestly, I'd go with SL3MG if not for the binding.

It's an import, so I hope you didn't pay too much for it.

Yes, from what I recall Sam Ash had two import models called the SL2H a few years back, one black with EMGs, and the other a blue flametop with Duncans.

Serial number.
And if you didn't have that, there are other indicators... moto inlays on a rosewood fret board for starters.
