Hey, I was given a guitar as a gift by my housemate but im having some trouble identifying any more than its an import Dinky model, any help from someone more knowledgeable than myself would be much appreciated

How does his guitar look like yours when it's got a middle single coil pickup and yours doesn't? Plus, yours has placement for three knobs, and his only has two.

Ah, I see. Still looks nothing like blackhatch's guitar. Is yours actually an archtop? Looks like it's just got a lower horn scallop as seen on some regular Dinkies. We don't really see many H/S/H models in the Jackson lineup.

yeah, the guitar is indeed an archtop and the serial is 9606113, im located in london btw
I'm pretty sure it's an ATX. Made in Japan in the mid/late-90s. They were available in trans blue, trans green & trans purple. There have been a few a discussions about them on the forum - a search should provide you more info.
The reason I asked your location is because these were only available outside of the US. If you were somewhere in America, it would be much less likely to be ATX.
