  • Found a cheap jap. Jackson

Not to sure of the model. Got it on CL. for 3 bills. Put a real duncan in the bridge. The trem was so rusted that I just replaced it with an Ibanez low pro edge II that I had collecting dust. Plays alot better than I expected. Bought it just have a beater. Being that I already put a pick up in it, do you guys think its worth putting another license floyd?

Nice find. I'm planning on putting a Korean OFR on my DK2M once it's back from paint. If you're looking for a Jackson licensed Floyd, hit me up.

Nice Dinky. Is the logo gold?

Throw an OFR on it, these are fine guitars!

I really like that flame job. The colors pop and it kinda looks like a sea creature. In a good way.

                  Very cool.

Very nice. I remember those, I believe it was a Musicians Friend special.

IIRC, not only is the logo gold, but the headstock is also blue.

Also a darker blue pin stripe around the headstock

ARGH! I hate living in Europe where these things never happen! Quality score, I would love one of those.

I recently picked up a KVX10 off CL for the same reason. It's amazing how cheap you can get these Japanese models. When I had a DK2 I put an OFR in it and swapped the LFR back in when I sold it. But honestly if the lo pro holds tune well I'd leave it in, if it doesn't ditch it. Who wants a trem they can't use?
