You're both spot on. The DK's are incredibly spectacular & the JS series have to be the best budget guitar ever made, far better than their price point would suggest.

Agreed. My JS1 was a helluva lot better sounding and built than my BC Rich, and cost 4x less.

Yes wilkinsi, I agree. I love my js1. I upgraded it with emg selects and a kahler 2310. I can honestly say it plays as good as my "Jap"-sons now. no lie.

how do the p/us sound on the 2m Chuckbat? hows the neck?

Neck is awesome, fast. Not completely sure about the JB. I had one in and older PRS SE Singlecut and it rocked, but in the thinner body DK it's a little thin. Very happy w/ the guitar though.

Play around with the height of the JB. I wasn't too keen on it either when I got my DK2, but I love it now.

I need the correct locking nut pads for the white DK. I'm using some off my LTD and they're a little tight. Bought some off allparts.com and they didn't fit. Can't find anyone that has them, and no Fender dealers as was suggested.
