WOAH! New X Series Seven Strings?

I couldn't be more thrilled with these; bridge options, SLSstock, finish options that are not only colors other than black but unusual for the price range of the X series and it's a Jackson. Not to mention the control layout is pure sex."Dave Mustaine - apparently, he invented thrash AND Christmas." - Grandturk

Someone at sevenstring said that these are 26.5". So they changed the scale lenght but didn't change the pickup position. Please fix it Jackson. I looked at the pictures more carefuly and noticed that they have binding on the headstock and fretboard after all. It is black in colour and almost disappears except on that silver one with matching headstock. It is a good thing. White with matchin headstock would look classy.

My Ibanez hardtail is actually not to far off from how those with the floyd look, but with the floyds the intonation point is probably even a bit further away than that, i would agree if they were 26.5 scale it looks like the pups are routed for the typical 25.5.

I think the bridge gap is exacerbated by the lack of a pickup ring. Looks like most of those pickups are direct mount. You add a bezel and the gap wouldn't look nearly as large, especially on the Floyded models. It's still greater than before and I think some of you may be right that they haven't moved the pickups with the increased scale, but it's only an extra inch. The sky isn't falling.Hail yesterday

Those look really nice, really curious to see when they'll announce them. It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

I still want a SLAT3-7, since I don't get along with the 26.5" scale.
