I've had my DKMG for about 2 weeks now and I must say it's my favorite in the stable. I like it more than my DK2M. I had EMG 81/85 in Les Paul type guitars, but they sound mucho better in this guitar. This thing is a monster

If the EMG's were in the DK2M, would you play the DK2M more? Or is there something else other than pickups that you don't like on the DK2M.

Dude the dkmg just flows so much better. It's weird, like I'm fighting the dk2m, it's like I have to kick its arse to play. But the mg is much more submissive, eager to play. Weird.

That almost sounds weird, but then I realize I've had a similar experience. Little things make all the difference. A fixed bridge V felt like crap to me. The trem version felt like it was made for me.

Sharkies Rule...I wonder...Could I put mu DK2M neck on my DKMG, then best of both worlds

I'd much rather sharks but I will no longer let the lack of them dictate my acquisition. That thought process would no doubt have lead to missed opportunities in the past.

The DK2M neck should go straight in but you have 2 awesome guitars, why halve that?

I love the look and sound of the maple. I also love the sound of the EMG's

DKMGT has now become my most frequent player.
I go through phases and hang on to guitars for a long time but this has been "it"
for quite a while now.

I've used J90C and now have a set of unobtanium Dave Stephens high gain prototypes in it.
The pups are worth 3x the guitar but it all fits together just fine tonewise.

I recently traded my dkmg for an agile interceptor, and missed it almost immediately. So I just purchased a loaded dkmg body on eBay. Now for the neck. They are awesome guitars. Nice score.

Yeah...I would be hating lif if my DKMG would be gone. Check craigslist for complete DK's too.

Just changed the strings on my DK2M, went to 10-46 EB, from 09-42 coated DR. What a tone difference
