  • Jackson Dinky Lt Professional

    Hello everybody, it's the first time I post here

    So I found this Dinky Lt Professional made in Japan for 400 €, it should be of the first 90s but I am not sure, as I couldn't find anything on the web about this specific model. Do you know anything about it? Is the price worth it? It has Reflex pickups, but I would switch the bridge one with a seymour duncan distortion.
    Actually I am not sure if to buy this or a LTD Deluxe Mh-1000 NT for 500 €.

    Here some pics:

    Is the fretboard ebony or rosewood?

      Just curious...isn't it a Stealth Pro??? If so it's a killer guitar.

        Yeah... that's a Stealth.
        If it's a LT, the board is Rosewood. 1992 would be the year.

          Looks like a Stealth LT, and a nice one at that. The Jackson logo looks like it's MOP and I didn't think you got that on this model... Do you know if it has a flame maple top? Also, its hard to tell from those pictures but the fretboard looks awfully dark and way too clean to be rosewood.

            Thank you for the answers! The guy just told me it's a Dinky but you probably know more than him!
            @DonP I don't know he doesn't know...
            @decadence same as with DonP...
            By the way I played it and it feels good, what do you think, is it a good deal?

            And he also sent me another 2 photos:

                Sure as shit looks ebony to me, meaning Stealth Pro... its got reflex pickups too. Id say if you can get it for under $400 its a good deal.

                  Great price on a great guitar. Thats a stealth pro. I have a 92 just like it in dark violet burst. The reflex pickups are active. A Duncan distortion want match up with rest of the original electronics. They sound better than emgs to me more character and life then emgs. U can swap out for for all passive electronics tho. Great guitar grab it.

                    If it's a Stealth pro it was only made for one year before being discontinued. Thats the first one thats popped up since I joined.
                    It's pronounced soops

                      If its in good condition, and if you liked it when you played it, I would get it. A stealth pro is going to be really high quality.

                            So tomorrow I am going to try this guitar again.
                            In the meanwhile, I found a esp M-II for the same price (400€). Really, can't decide... what do you think?

                              Ignore the name on the headstock... buy the one that plays the best.
