GC is selling a used DK w/ EMG's but not an archtop. It's in pretty shoddy shape. They want $400 for it. I asked the "guitar pro" there if MG's were archtops and he was like "not all". That's why I asked.

Yeah, DKMGs are all archtop. DXmgs are all flat.

Since when did GC know anything? I have a Sam Ass I go to doing the same thing, calling a DXMG a DKMG and asking $500 for it. For 3 years now. What's really nice is for a while they had a same exact DXMG right next to it for $300. Everytime I went in I'd ask them "Why is this one a DXMG and that one a DKMG?" "Can you show me what the difference is?" "Can you explain why it's $200 more?"

I pay less than $200 for DXMG's without case. A little more with case.

Wow. These box type music stores strange. Sometimes they have a great deal. Then most of the time they put the screws to you.
