      [QUOTE]They did... it was called a PC3.
Didn't sell very well so they canned it[/QUOTE I bet it would sell with a strat headstock if they came back out with them.

Very true. And I would be the first guy in line to buy one.

It does. The headstock cut looks like a modern Strat instead of the older J/C version of a Strathead.
By that I mean the cut under the logo is more curved.

Depending if the neck profile works for you, why not just get a used So Cal ProMod? Better pickups, better tremolo, and dependable build quality for the same price. I'm just not convinced that MII was a good move.

I wish all my USA Jackson/Charvel played like my kid's "Crafted in India" w/ CHEAP floyd, and pups muthafugga. These are facts.

I personally don't have amy imports. I used to, but had that cheap-factor mindset. My old HRR Strat sounded better than the USA one I ordered new. My advice, if it plays good, sounds good..import or not. It is good.

Some people truly believe.. the more you pay for something..the better it is. I fell for that twice with guitars. One, was that import Strat w/ OFR, Second, was my old Epi Tobacco Standard w/ Gibson 57s. I miss 'em both.

                  Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

I love the looks of this guitar alot. It's GREAT !! I'd prefer white on maple..pups and all. I always liked that look.

Here is the other Adrian Smith SDX that will be available (hence the reason you see different descriptions)...one has black guard with maple and this one is white guard with rosewood:

The one dealer I contacted mentioned getting a couple in next week. I will be getting a rosewood to refin.

it will happen and sooner than you can blink! look at japan 30 years ago they were no where near what they are today, but now amazing stuff,i bought a MIJ pro mod so cal and it is every bit as good as my USA san dimas pro mod, actually the fret work on the MIJ is better,it gets a lower action without excess buzz and no dead notes when bending. not saying my USA is not amazing but just as far as fret work the MIJ has it beat
I had heard that the workers at charvel japan have to graduate luthier school before they can work there?
anyway the MII and MIK stuff is getting better and better,i played a newer SLX and it was amazing for $500!

I dunno. I think the JS line feels like crap. The Desolation I played felt like crap, I'd bet the Adrian Smith Import feels like crap.

C/J has to find a better factory for this stuff. The one in Japan was phenomenal. They were putting out some better guitars than their MIA counterparts. They should reopen that factory or just build one from the ground up and rehire the Japanese luthiers who worked there.

Sorry if my opinion is unpopular, but it's the truth.
