  • help identifying a japanese guitar

Hi everyone, I originally posted these pictures on the jackson official site but I couldn't get any info. I have been searching and searching and searching, this site and others but I haven't been able to find exactly what this guitar is...
The guitar is all black, it has a licensed floyd rose, a bridge humbucker and angled single coil (might be rails) on the neck. The neck has dot inlays. The head stock is labeled jackson but right next to it reads grover jackson. Finally the neck plate is stamped jackson serial number 311281. I have beem doing some research and it might be a japanese 93. I opened the back and I was able to see that the pots are stamped made in Japan. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wow this thread sure went an unusual way. Way to be a proactive new member and read the rules first! Good score on the guitar too!

You did good on the research and the price - I agree, 'not bad' for 150.00. I've certainly have done worse.

oops, oh well. can I edit? No offense obviously. I have been out of this forum for too long. I'm definitely not an expert on C/J history or this forum. I forgot as much as I have learned.
