I have two DK2Ms, a blue bengal and a bullseye. The necks are noticeably different on these two guitars. The bengal neck is much thinner and has a lot more finish on it than the bullseye neck. Also the factory fretwork on the bengal was a lot better and it was a breeze to set up. The bullseye on the other hand needed fretwork right out of the box; a couple of the inlays were starting to pop up, too.

After a good deal of setup, however, the bullseye is a much louder, thicker, ballsier sounding guitar than the bengal. It's hard to believe these two guitars have the same pickups in them. Someday I may have to take the pickups out of them just to verify that someone didn't stick the wrong Duncans in one of them.

They both play really well now and both sound really good to me, just different. It's as if the bengal has a SD 59 in the bridge and the bullseye has a Tone Zone! I like 'em both a lot.
