Just pulled the trigger on this a hour ago,my very first jackson even though it is a import i am happy about it,love the crimson swirl!


Wanted to ask, i have a chrome MIG SCHALLER floyd



is that a drop in with no mods on these? i have USA duncans or diamrzio's to put in it too so it should be a really sweet import when i am done? I am also going to lose those chrome knobs and use black dome ones from a ESP.

I was tempted to buy the crimson swirl body off of ebay but he's asking too much. I'd mate it to a flamey DXMG neck I have kicking around.

All MIJ Jacksons are fantastic guitars, unfortunately the factory that was building them closed down some months ago so the entire Pro series was discontinued. I hope they do something about that soon. The X series is a newer series that everyone seems to be raving about, they are guitars manufactured in India and have high-end specs (EMGs, neck-through construction, binding, etc.) for a lower price point.

what is the going rate for these in mint shape with a case? the same is not a jackson but it is a decent case anyway?
I paid $379 shipped? thats sounds like it would be about right or did i get a really great or did i get get raped? i honestly dont know cause these versions are not made anymore?
