  • My one of a kind DK2M

It started out as a Guitar Center find. Leveled and crowned the frets, stripped and painted with purple pearl, new Dimarzios, and replaced the Jackson tremolo with a Korean Floyd. Needed to have the trem posts doweled and re-drilled because they were off big time.

Really? Can you take some pictures of the fit of the trem in the cavity? I'm curious about swapping.

        Thanks.

DonP, an OFR will swap right in. Mine was just off because the posts weren't positioned correctly.

I never cared for the black sharks on a maple board but I have to admit that looks really nice.
That is very very cool well done.
              Really? well screw Mark Twain.

I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

Looks beautiful, but what's with the koreean floyd instead of the Jackson one?
I've used and abused Jackson's import Floyds for years, and never had a problem, not a single one.

That thing is freakin' beautiful! Love it! Did the pickups come that color? That is just soooo sweet! I am such a huge fan of the maple fretboard with delrin inlays!

I would stick with a Japan Jackson Floyd also. Never ever had an issue with any of my JT580's or JT580LP's.. Why change it?

What type of DiMarzio's and how do you like the tone?

the JT580LPs are ok. I have two Charvels with the Koreans OFRs and I like how there is zero creaking at the nut. My three Jacksons with the JT580 all creaked. I took the Korean OFR out of my USA So Cal. And then I put I licensed Schaller Floyd in the Charvel.
